How do water striders behave? And how does a beetle move? With the Insect & Water Explorer Set, young researchers aged 4 years and over immerse themselves in the fascinating world of insects. The observation station allows them to closely observe caterpillars, beetles, water striders, and other insects on the move or at home. The station consists of two chambers. The upper chamber is a dry chamber and can be easily removed. The lower chamber is waterproof - perfect for exploring the aquatic world. Kids collect small insects with the included research equipment consisting of a landing net, insect catcher, magnifying glass, and tweezers. They carefully place the insects in the station through the large openings and take them out again after their observations and return them to nature.
